Tullulah's Story...
Meet Tullulah (Tula for short)! Tullulah is a ~5 month young possible Corgi/Aussie mix (best guess based on looks and size) rescued from the Downey Animal Shelter.

Tullulah is an affectionate, playful and seriously adorable little gal. She gets along with every human -- big and small -- and every dog. Tullulah loves going on walks and to the dog parks and is learning to be a perfect little pup.

Unfortunately, Tullulah was born missing a growth plate in her left front leg, which has led to severe elbow dysplasia. After consulting with several vets, we have concluded it is in Tullulah's best interest for a happy and healthy life to have this leg removed. She will still be a normal pup in every way, except she will have three legs instead of four. Tullulah will still be able to frolic and wrestle with the best of them.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tullulah, a Los Angeles Corgi puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Corgi for sale in Los Angeles, or seeking a Corgi puppy from a breeder in Los Angeles.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Los Angeles already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Los Angeles breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Corgi breeders who help with Corgi rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Los Angeles paves the way for another one to be saved.
