Our Adoption Process...
$40-60 to adopt a cat. $90-150 for popular breeds. Higher rates for animals who get adopted very quickly help fund the care of those who need a longer stay in their foster homes and/or expensive veterinary care.

All cats are altered, vaccinated with a 3-in-1 and rabies (underage kittens will receive rabies free of charge when old enough). All potential adopters will be interviewed. Full return policy if adoption does not work out.

We take pride in the fact that we consider every animal worthy of rescuing regardless of age and medical needs. Some of our cats are special needs but often so worth the trouble and expense.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Wholly, a Modesto Domestic Mediumhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Mediumhair for sale in Modesto, or seeking a Domestic Mediumhair cat from a breeder in Modesto.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Modesto already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Modesto breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Mediumhair breeders who help with Domestic Mediumhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Modesto paves the way for another one to be saved.
