My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

See more pictures of this sweet, smart boy, click here: Doc

Doc is a 9 year old brown and red mini male Dachshund. He is very sweet, with tons of affection to dole out.  He is very thin, with ribs showing but has a very healthy appetite and is gaining the much needed weight. Doc loves sleeping in the big bed snuggled up under the covers next to foster Mom. He is house trained and makes it known when he wants outside to do his business. He has seen a vet, had a MUCH NEEDED complete dental, is up to date on all his shots and ready for a loving home.  He does however have anxiety when he cannot see his person and is vocal (which we are working on). Doc would not be a suitable dog for anyone who is gone 8-10 hours a day and crated or for an apartment.

Doc's adoptio fee is only $125. If you are a senior that would like to give this senior a warm lap to settle in, we will give you a senor to senior discount that will bring her adoption fee to a mere $100.

Doc is being fostered in Vista, CA (No. San Diego County-10 miles East of Oceanside). If Doc sounds like the perfect Dachshund for you, please contact Carol at cbhdfc@gmail.com
