Cheeto's Story...
**Cheeto is a courtesy post and is not part of Operation Education. If you have any questions about him or are interested in making him part of your family, please contact Melissa at mrsladymelissa@gmail.com**

This is Cheeto, also known as Cheez Louise. He will be 2 in February. He has lots of energy, his favorite is to play frisbee. He is good off a leash, if he takes off, he just wants to do a couple of laps around the house and always comes straight back. He is 65 lbs., half German Shepard and half Tree Hound. He thinks he is still a little puppy, so he tries to still do puppy things, like jumping up on cats and kids. He would not be a good fit with a house with small kids or small animals for this reason alone. He protects the house very well, and takes sometime to warm up to strangers when coming in for the first time. He is crate trained, house broken and neutered. He is due for a round of shots. We can supply all records for him, from his vet. He is very lovable and needs all the attention he can get.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cheeto, a Christiana Treeing Walker Coonhound/German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Treeing Walker Coonhound/German Shepherd Dog for sale in Christiana, or seeking a Treeing Walker Coonhound/German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Christiana.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Christiana already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Christiana breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Treeing Walker Coonhound/German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with Treeing Walker Coonhound/German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Christiana paves the way for another one to be saved.
