Jasper- pending's Story...
People!! Don't miss this one!! Jasper is a goofy, shaggy puppy. He is so fun loving and an absolute joyto be around. He makes you smile, laugh, and forget your bad day as he tosses his stuffed animal in the air and pounces on it before doing a victory lap. He is very people oriented and shows off for you only to come and get pet.
Jasper is the sweetest boy and very agreeable too. Jasper was found in a high kill GA shelter on his last day. He was such a sweet lovable boy that when our volunteer went thru the shelter that day she could not leave this gem behind. He is now happy and healthy and looking for love. He is about 55 pounds and 7 months or so. We think he'll be about 70 lbs. He has learned good doggy manners while being in foster care and he is ready for a home to call his own. He is great with other canines and loves human children too.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jasper- pending, a Portsmouth Great Pyrenees/Setter (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Great Pyrenees/Setter (Unknown Type) for sale in Portsmouth, or seeking a Great Pyrenees/Setter (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Portsmouth.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Portsmouth already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Portsmouth breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Great Pyrenees/Setter (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Great Pyrenees/Setter (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Portsmouth paves the way for another one to be saved.
