04.12.13 Arturo rode Lucero for the first time! Lucy is now 4 years old and it looks like she will be staying pony sized. A super cute young girl who is looking for her new home and future.

9/25/12 Lucero is a really cute little filly, sound and healthy. We have given her all this time to mature before we really begin working with her as she is staying quite small. As she is almost 4 years old now, we will soon begin to work with her and get her ready for work under saddle. A nice little girl who has a bright future ahead! Lucy leads and holds her feet up for the farrier. 

8/9/09 Lucero is being worked with regularly on her leading, picking up her feet, etc. 

7/24/09 Lucero is now fully weaned and looking for a home of her own! She is friendly and sweet, but has some spunk. A really cute little filly. She needs a home of her own where she can get the love and attention she deserves, rescue is just no home for a healthy active foal! She is healthy and sound, no health issues. Up to date. 

Born at Shiloh on 12/13/08 to Amiga, a Shiloh Sanctuary horse. Amiga arived at Shiloh pregnant and suffering from acute and chronic Laminitis.

Lucero, which translates to 'Bright Star' or 'Morning Star' was born at 6 am. Leo and the guys named her. Lucero is healthy and active. Amiga is a great mother.
