Cap'n Jack's Story...
Meet Cap'n Jack! Jack is a 3 year old Chihuahua/Corgi Mix. He came to Keppa Animal Rescue from Maricopa County Animal Control. He had come in as a stray, and had been hit by a car. This did not hold Jack back from being a wonderful friendly guy. He was quietly laying in his kennel, wagging his little tail when he saw me. Jack had lost an eye from his accident, but being the spunky fun loving dog that he is, it does not slow him down. Jack loves to run around and play. He enjoys balls, and ropes. He also enjoys playing with cats, and other dogs. At the end of his day he loves to climb in bed with you, and snuggle as close as he can get. He loves all people, including children. Jack has been neutered, is fully vaccinated, and has been vet checked. If you would like more information, or to meet Jack, please contact us today!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cap'n Jack, a scottsdale Chihuahua/Corgi dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua/Corgi for sale in scottsdale, or seeking a Chihuahua/Corgi dog from a breeder in scottsdale.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in scottsdale already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a scottsdale breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua/Corgi breeders who help with Chihuahua/Corgi rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in scottsdale paves the way for another one to be saved.
