TAD - ADOPTION PENDING's Info...

|Size:||Small 25 lbs (11 kg) or less||Sex:||Male|
I am already neutered, purebred, up to date with shots, good with dogs, and good with cats.
Handsome little Tad is a pure bred black Brussels Griffon boy who was born on November 20, 2005 and weighs just 8.8 lbs. He is a happy boy (even though he was afraid of the camera) and loves to play with the girl dogs in his foster home.
He is an affectionate little griff who wants a home that can dote on him. He will just continue to blossom into the wonderful intelligent character that he is showing he is. Tad has some of the cutest play habits his foster parents have seen. His favorite toy is the cap from a water bottle. He will throw it in the air and bat it around like a cat, then he will throw it in the air and the game starts all over again. He also uses his hind legs in the most unique way to turn around in place! He is a little Kramer says his foster home, so if you like a dog that has his own way of presenting himself to the great big world, this is the dog for you!
He is hoping for a forever home with a securely fenced yard, another small female dog to play with and a human that will love him unconditionally. Are you the special person Tad is looking for? Tad would do fine as an only pet as long as he gets plenty of one on one with his special person....no exceptions!
Tad is up-to-date on vaccinations, micro chipped, heart worm negative, neutered, and is being fostered near Quartzsite, AZ. He is so ready to meet you!
Please keep in mind that we prefer to place our dogs within driving distance of where they are being fostered. If someone outside the local area is approved for adoption, they must be willing to fly in to get Tad. That can only happen if he will fly home inside the cabin with the approved adopter. We never, ever ship our dogs in cargo.
If you are interested in adopting Tad, please submit an adoption application at www.abgra.org.. If you have any questions, please contact us at the email link below.

Rescue Group Info...
ABGRA (American Brussels Griffon Rescue Alliance) & AAR (American Affenpinscher Rescue) is a non-profit national rescue group founded to rescue, rehabilitate and re-home Brussels Griffons and Affenpinschers. We strive to leave no Griff or Affen behind and rescue these breeds from commercial breeding facilities and city/county shelters when foster home space is available. We also accept owner surrendered Griffs and Affens. We are an all foster home based rescue that provides complete vetting for our dogs prior to adoption.
American Brussels Griffon Rescue Alliance Inc. (ABGRA) and American Affenpinscher Rescue (AAR) came into being to meet the needs of the Brussels Griffons and Affenpinschers who are abandoned, might be abandoned, or whose circumstances we can improve.
We are especially mindful of the Griffs and Affens that have spent their lives in commercial breeding facilities and who will have a chance at a better life through our efforts.We also rescue both breeds from animal shelters and accept owner surrendered Griffs and Affens.
ABGRA, & our subsidiary AAR, is a non-profit national rescue group.
All adoptions go through our website-
We do not have a kennel facility and place all of our Griffons and Affens by application. All of our rescued dogs are living in foster homes where public viewing is not possible.
Our adoption donations are from $200 - $350 and reflect the vetting costs incured for each dog as well as some dogs whose costs far exceed the donation.
We interview all references provided and require a home visit before placements. An adoption contract is required. If the dog is returned within 30 days, a refund will be issued. ABGRA requires adopters be 25 years old, or older, and are looking for stable permanent adoptors. In most cases, these breeds are not recommened for families with young children or for people who are not home for long periods of time. They are the perfect pet for someone who can take their dog to work with them, work from home, or are retired.
