Guinness's Story...
Guinness and Winkie are both available for 'owner to owner adoption'. Please use the contact information at the end of this description to contact the owner directly regarding these cats. To find a loving and caring home for this brother and sister would be a special gift for me. I found them in my back garden in the spring and have loved and seen to their needs since they were tiny. They have been spayed and neutered, shots and microchipped. They have been given good food ;Royal Canin)and toys and attention. I tried not to name them but the black fellow is Guinness and the grey girl is Winkie due to her one eye status- she had an eye infection early on and eye was lost. They are extremely entertaining and lovable- hard to part with them but my fur family is against more in the house. This is far more difficult for me than I imagined but if I know they are with loving and thoughtful cat guardians it will be a bit easier to cope. He is very cuddly and she is getting used to cuddles. They adore chasing each other and love the toys. They have loads of energy but can also settle down well. Due to circumstances they are kind of crate trained. They are inside cats and I would wish for them to remain so. My goal is for them to stay together. I don't believe I asking for too much. I am in Windsor and am willing to drive the pair to wherever their forever home will be. Many thanks Graciella Stokes 519 252-7413 stokedgl@gmail.com

About Our Shelter...
The Comfie Cat Shelter is a no-kill shelter founded by Barbara MacLeod in 2005 to address the issue of the over population of abandoned cats. The shelter was established because the number of cats being abandoned or neglected is increasing every year.
The members/volunteers of The Comfie Cat Shelter believe in helping cats in need. Cats that have been rescued or accepted from people who are no longer able to care for them are taken to a veterinarian for a check-up and general assessment of their health, given vaccinations or medications (if required), and spayed or neutered. The cats are then kept in foster homes until permanent homes can be found for them. The foster homes are screened for their ability to give quality care and a loving environment to the cats or kittens.
The Mandate of The Comfie Cat Shelter organization is to help cats in need. This includes unwanted, stray and abandoned cats. These lost, starving, often sick and sometimes even tortured animals survive as best they can in dumpsters and doorways. Hidden from view, their life is one of hardship and suffering. As volunteers, we try to help as many of these unfortunate cats as we can.
