Tyco is located in Youngstown Florida
Tyco is a 2 1/2 yr. old, red and black, gorgeous large German Shepherd that will most likely weigh around 100lbs or more once his weight is maintained. He is neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccinations, flea, and heartworm prevention.
Tyco was removed from his former home due to a horrific crimes that led the police to undergo full investigation at the property that’s where Tyko was confiscated, taken to local animal control where we Rescued him out. Despite the horrific circumstances that brought Tyko to our Rescue his foster mom reports that he is a loving, playful well mannered boy.
He has excellent house manners, and is a delight to have in rescue. He walks well on a leash, speaks for treats, and knows how to greet with a paw shake. He loves to play fetch, but sometimes gets a little rough when playing and will nip when he gets overly excited, so he would do much better with older children. Tyko did have a small companion in his former home so I have no doubt small dogs will be fine, not sure about cats and we would require a dog check to ensure compatibility prior to adoption.
He is crate trained and sometimes whines a bit when you leave, but settles down and is well behaved in his crate. He loves to go for car rides and would really be an outstanding companion. We ask that the adopter have a fenced in yard because this boy loves to play outside and would prefer to do that safely in a large area due to his size.
