Weasley's Story...
Weasley is a handsome, shy and very dog-friendly, two-year-old, 48-pound, male Husky/Labrador-Mix looking for a loving guardian. Weasley was found wandering stray in the Wicker Park neighborhood of Chicago. He is housebroken, and while his foster mom doesn’t crate him, he loves to hang out in his crate; it’s his safe place. Weasley loves to go for walks, and he adores all other dogs. Because he’s a little nervous around new people, and in new situations, he is recommended for adults and dog-savvy teenagers. He has not yet been cat-tested. Weasley is very healthy, up-to-date on vaccines, micro-chipped, fecal and heartworm-tested. He is scheduled to be neutered this Friday December 21st. To meet and possibly adopt him, please contact Trish at dogma.petcare80@gmail.com or 773-297-1923. His adoption fee of $200 benefits rescued dogs.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Weasley, a Chicago Husky/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Husky/Labrador Retriever for sale in Chicago, or seeking a Husky/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Chicago.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Chicago already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Chicago breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Husky/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Husky/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Chicago paves the way for another one to be saved.
