Taz's Story...
Taz is a surprisingly calm, sweet, friendly, playful, and well-behaved, seven-month-old, 35-pound, male terrier-mix looking for a loving guardian. Taz is full of tail wags and kisses for everyone he meets. He loves people of all ages – including children. He also gets along with other dogs, as well as cats. He is living in a foster home where he has proven housebroken and crate-trained. He knows the command sit and takes treats nicely from your fingers. Taz is healthy, neutered, de-wormed, up-to-date on vaccines, heartworm-tested, and on monthly preventative. His adoption fee of $200 benefits the rescued pets of Famous Fido’s. To meet and possibly adopt Taz, please contact his foster mom Chris by e-mail at Never2manyK9@aol.com or phone 630-699-1480. He is currently living in a foster home in Naperville, Illinois.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Taz, a Chicago American Pit Bull Terrier/American Staffordshire Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Pit Bull Terrier/American Staffordshire Terrier for sale in Chicago, or seeking a American Pit Bull Terrier/American Staffordshire Terrier dog from a breeder in Chicago.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Chicago already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Chicago breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Pit Bull Terrier/American Staffordshire Terrier breeders who help with American Pit Bull Terrier/American Staffordshire Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Chicago paves the way for another one to be saved.
