Cash's Story...
**SPECIAL THANKS TO A DBC ANGEL FOR SPONSORING CASH WHILE HE IS IN OUR PROGRAM**

Take one look at Cash and you can see he is a handsome guy with a megawatt smile. He is not only good looking, but a lot of fun. Cash likes to stay busy and needs an active owner who likes to do fun activities and will continue to teach him new things. Cash loves to play fetch, knows all of his basic commands (sit, stay, down, drop it) and he would love to learn more. Cash is 3 years old and a solid boy weighing in around 55 lbs. Because he is so active, he would do best in a home with older children. He gets along with other dogs and is crate trained. No cats, please. Cash was rescued by DBC in Southwest Detroit. We believe his breed to be an American Bully.

If you would like to meet Cash, please fill out the adoption application at www.dbcdogs.org

Adoption fee: $250 includes microchip, crate, vaccinations, rabies certificate, neuter, and 12 months of training after adoption is complete.

About Detroit Bully Corps

About Our Rescue Group...

Our Mission:
The foundation of our program is education. Without education on spay/neuter, breed specific legislation (BSL), training, breed specific workshops, the dog fighting culture and responsible ownership... the epidemic will never end. Rescue is a mere bandage in the overall scale of the canine epidemic. Shelters are overrun, rescues are overflowing and society is in need of education. For every one spot we fill, we turn away 50... We average 20 rescue canines at any given time. Also take into consideration we deal primarily with one breed, the American Pit Bull Terrier. The American Pit Bull Terrier comprises 90% of our rescue population. We work with canines from any and every background, whether it be a surrendered family pet, bait dogs, seasoned fighters or the abused. We are a no-kill rescue/rehabilitation. We will not euthanize a canine that meets an adoptable standard. We as a moral, ethical and objective organization will NOT adopt out a canine that is a threat to society. We are advocates of the American Pit Bull Terrier. As such we will not add to the epidemic by being irresponsible. Our approach to rescue and rehabilitation is proactive. We at Detroit Bully Corps are not just trying to rehabilitate individual canines. We are also trying to do our part to rehabilitate the overall integrity of the American Pit Bull Terrier strain of canine. Our ultimate goal is to see the American Pit bull Terrier rise above the negative stigma & once again be the “All American Dog".
