Hello, I’m Lisa, a sweet little girl pitbull mix of just about a year old. I was found roaming free on the highway along with my sister. We were sent to a shelter where I stayed for a while. The organization Bell’Anima then came to get me and place me in foster care so I could feel more comfortable to learn how to be a good dog and find an adoptive family.
I am now in foster care and I live with another dog and many cats. The other dog (Buddy) is very nice with me and we love playing together! We walk two hours a day, we chase each other in the fenced yard, we chew on bones, we learn new tricks and we nap together. Since I’m a little shy, Buddy is teaching me to gain more confidence in myself. I am learning the good manners, like not to jump on people when I’m happy, not eat the cat toys and I am very happy. I am also very good with the cats.
I know my basic commands and I learn well with treats. I am 100% housebroken. I still pull a little on the leash when we go for walks, but learning from Buddy I try to walk slowly with my foster mom. I have no separation anxiety, so no barking while foster mom is at work. I calmly stay in my crate with my kong toy filled with frozen treats and I wait until she gets back home while I look at the cats playing. I sleep all night and I wait until my foster mom is awake before starting my day.
I am up-to-date with routine shots and already sterilized. I am looking for an active family that will be able to walk me a lot every day and give me the exercise I need. I will also need the family to continue my obedience training with positive reinforcement. I am ok with kids, but I need to continue learning not to jump on people because I am too happy.

Bonjour je suis Lisa, une petite fille pitbull croisée d’un an qui a été retrouvée sur l’autoroute avec ma sœur. On m’a envoyé dans un refuge où je suis restée assez longtemps. L’organisme Bell’Anima est ensuite venu me chercher pour me placer en famille d’accueil afin d’être plus à l’aise pour apprendre à être un bon chien et me trouver une famille adoptive.
Me voilà donc en famille d’accueil où je cohabite avec un autre chien et plusieurs chats. L’autre chien (Buddy) est très gentil avec moi et nous adorons jouer ensemble! On marche deux heures par jour, on se courre après dans la cour clôturée, on gruge des os, on apprend de nouveaux trucs et on fait la sieste ensemble. Comme je suis un peu plus craintive, Buddy me montre à avoir plus confiance en moi. J’apprends les bonnes manières, comme ne plus sauter sur les gens, ne plus manger les jouets des chats et je suis très heureuse. Je suis aussi très bonne avec les chats de la maison.
Je connais mes commandements de base et j’apprends bien avec des gâteries. Je suis 100% propre dans la maison. Je tire encore un peu sur la laisse lors des promenades, mais je commence à comprendre en regardant Buddy, qu’il faut marcher doucement avec notre maman. Je ne fais pas d’anxiété de séparation, donc pas de jappements quand maman va travailler. Je reste sagement dans ma cage avec mon jouet kong rempli de gâteries congelées et j’attends sagement le retour de maman en regardant les chats jouer et en lichant mon kong. Je fais dodo toute la nuit et j’attends que maman se réveille avant de commencer ma journée.
Je suis à jour dans mes vaccins et déjà opérée. Je cherche une famille active qui sera en mesure de me marcher beaucoup à tous les jours et à prendre le temps de continuer mon entraînement pour l’obéissance avec le renforcement positif. Je suis correcte avec les enfants, mais on doit continuer à me montrer à ne pas sauter pour ne pas que je blesse les gens.
