Meet Gotty! This poor sweatheart was abandoned by her so-called family and we saved her from the pound just before it was too late.
She is a female small size pittie about 8 years old. She is trained in English and is a really sweet girl. She was great with dogs and cats at the pound, and is doing great at her foster home as well. She is sweet enough that she taught insecure and shy Mona (who was another Bell'Anima foster in the same home) how to be more confident! Currently living with a pomeranian and 3 cats in an apartment downtown Montreal!)

Cette pauvre fille a été abandonnée par sa famille et nous l’avons sauvée de la fourrière juste avant qu’il ne soit trop tard.
Cette pitbull croisee femelle de petite taille de 8 ans répond aux commandements en Anglais et elle est vraiment adorable. Elle se comportait bien avec les chiens et les chats à la fourrière et après une petite period de transition se comporte très bien chez sa famille d'acceuil aussi. Elle habite presentement avec un petit Pom et 3 chats en appartement en plein centre-ville de Montreal!

Bell’Anima (Italian for “Beautiful Soul”) is a non-profit organization dedicated to rescuing and placing abandoned dogs and cats.
We are a foster based rescue with very big ideas. Our dream is to one day build a shelter for all of the abandoned animals that find their way to our rescue. In the meantime, we work with committed foster homes for an indefinite amount of time. These fosters work tirelessly in giving the Bell’Anima exercise, discipline, affection and socialization skills required to create a well balanced companion. This allows the animal to have their true character shine through rehabilitation, patience and love.
We also work closely with our veterinarians in order to provide all of our Bell’Animas a healthy future. We provide them with a full veterinary check, protect them from illness with basic vaccines, and most importantly all of our animals are spayed or neutered or will be if not yet of age.
Our team consists of 5 dedicated directors, our wonderful volunteers and our foster families. All of whom are an important, crucial part of making Bell’Anima a working and worth while rescue.
All of our rescues are in foster homes throughout Quebec and some parts of Ontario.
