Amy's Story...
Amy is a very lovely young dog. At about a year old, this mixed breed is active and outgoing. Amy has long legs, a long wavy coat, a light athletic build, and natural intelligence. She would love to find a home with humans that were willing to give her lots of attention, lots of exercise, and maybe even some formal training.

Amy was found several weeks before she was brought to the shelter. The people that found her looked for her family but did not find them. The people that had Amy indicated that she was a very social and active girl. They also stated that she loved playing with the neighbor's dog.

If you are looking for a great new friend, come out and adopt Amy today!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Amy, a Menomonie Labrador Retriever/Border Collie dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Border Collie for sale in Menomonie, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Border Collie dog from a breeder in Menomonie.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Menomonie already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Menomonie breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Border Collie breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Border Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Menomonie paves the way for another one to be saved.
