Bones's Story...
Bones is a Shelter Puppy Dog:
adoption date is 8-23-07 and can be put to sleep any time after the adoption date.
Mimi and her son Bones were found together looking for food, they both came in very thin, both have already started putting on weight now that they get 2 meals a day at the shelter.. At our best guess Bones is around 6 to 7 months old, is Large/Medium in size, walks on a leash, sits when asked, he appears to be sweet & loving, active & playful, some what obedient, very alert and a fun loving young man.

I gave a little test by looking in Bone's mouth, pulling on his ears and tail, holding his paw and giving him a little kiss and hug. Bones appeared to past the test with no problems.. What good dogs Bones and his mother Mimi are Like all of our dogs, we suggest a well fenced yard for Bones to play and be safe in. We feel he may make a really special companion and family member for someone. If you wish, Bones can be tested around a Child, Cats & Dogs here at the shelter.

Act quickly to adopt Bones. Pets at this Shelter may be held for only a short time.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bones, a Grass Valley American Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Grass Valley, or seeking a American Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Grass Valley.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Grass Valley already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Grass Valley breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with American Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Grass Valley paves the way for another one to be saved.
