NOEL's Story...
Meet Noel! He is an intact male only 1 1/2 yrs old. He was surrendered by someone who was not giving him the home he deserved. Noel is extremely underweight, but otherwise healthy. He does have a funny little wart on the middle of his forehead which is rapidly dissapearing. He is grateful to be getting a few meals a day here at the pound, but would love to be in a home where he can continue to fill out so his body size can match his big blocky head! He is VERY sweet, seems okay around other dogs. We would suggest a home with older children because as much as we are feeding him here, he still acts very hungry and grabs treats out of our hands like he has never eaten before. Noel needs an immediate home where he can continue to grow and develop. Noel is available through the State Animal Population Control Program for a $50 fee.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

NOEL, a Berlin American Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Berlin, or seeking a American Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Berlin.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Berlin already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Berlin breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with American Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Berlin paves the way for another one to be saved.
