Andy's Info...
| Breed: | American Shorthair | Color: | Tiger Striped | Age: | Kitten |
| Sex: | Male | Hair: | Short |
We rescued Andy from a kill shelter in NYC. He was reportedly found wondering the streets of Brooklyn but he isn't saying. He isn't saying much at all but he is doing a lot of purring and pretty loud too.
Andy has a thick shiny coat with beautiful markings and wears dainty little white socks. He is soft as a pillow and sweet like a doughnut.
Andy loves cats, kittens, people and kids. We are not sure how he feels about dogs but he is young enough to figure out dogs can be fun.
He can be adopted solo or with another kitten.
Andy is 5 months old, vaccinated, neutered, tested for FIV and FELV and - purring.
Rescue Group Info...
North Brooklyn Cats specializes in taking in orphaned "bottle-babies" from other rescues and from the streets of our neighborhood. These tiny kittens require round-the-clock care and often don't do well in a shelter environment. We have many years experience volunteering and working for shelters and rescue organizations in New York City.
We have special adoption events in the neighborhood and also work with other rescue groups, sharing resources whenever possible.
Cat and kitten adoptions require a $100.00 donation, which helps us cover the costs of delivering them already spayed/neutered, tested for feline AIDS and leukemia, current on vaccines, dewormed and treated for any health problems we were aware of. We generally require that kittens under five months of age be adopted in two's unless you already have another pet. Adoptions require an application that asks for two references and a contract. We deliver your new cat to your home, generally within a few days of getting your application. We are happy to help should you need advice or assistance with your new companion before or after the adoption.
