Here's what the humans have to say about me:
I am Della, a 3 year old German Shepard/Husky mix. I was found wandering all alone in a neighborhood in Forsyth County. I’m sure my previous owners took great care of me and loved me for I was recently groomed and am in excellent health. All efforts to find my previous family have failed and now I am looking for a new forever home. I am spayed, have all my shots and am currently on flea and heartworm preventative, and was micro-chipped at the vet. I love going for walks, sleeping on the end of the bed, and chasing tennis balls.
Reason’s to adopt me:
· Housebroken
· I don’t chew on things
· Healthy
· Low on shedding
· I’m gentle with children
· Low-maintenance, I don’t require a ton of affection but of course I won’t deny any either.
· I’m really cute! I look a little like a fox in the face.
Things to consider before adopting me:
· I suffered from minor separation anxiety for the first few days in my foster home, but I’m over it now. It may happen again with my new forever home.
· I have FAD (Flea Allergic Dermatitis), so I will need to be on flea prevention year round.
My fosters have a house-full of pets already and I think it may just be too many for me to compete with. I would do best in a home where I was the only dog or with another dog of similar size or smaller as a playmate. Oh and cats? I love cats! My foster’s kitty’s don’t like me too well and it makes me sad that they won’t play with me. Please consider me for your family. I would make a good guard dog as well.
