Maybeline's Story...
Maybeline, so named because of the seemingly overuse of eyeliner, is a beautiful kitten about 6 months old. She is current on her vaccinations and was recently spayed. She is also very well trained about using her litter box. Maybelline, nicknamed Maybe, is full of energy, but also loves to cuddle when she has played herself out. These days, she and Evinrude have been keeping close company. Maybeline tolerates dogs which are tolerant of cats, but prefers feline companionship.

We at THANKS strongly recommend adopting two felines at the same time. Most cats enjoy the company of other cats, especially when the human family members are not available to play and/or cuddle with.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Maybeline, a Florence Domestic Longhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Longhair for sale in Florence, or seeking a Domestic Longhair cat from a breeder in Florence.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Florence already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Florence breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Longhair breeders who help with Domestic Longhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Florence paves the way for another one to be saved.
