Countess's Story...
Countess is a 4 year old Shepherd/Terrier mix. She is a very sweet dog and has some training and knows how to sit, shake, lie down, and roll over. She loves to play with toys, especially balls or ones that squeak. We recommend she is adopted into a home where children are 8 years old or older due to an unknown history if she has ever been around children before.
Adoption fees include spaying or neutering, vaccinations (excluding Rabies), ID microchip, collar, a dog training DVD, de-worming treatments, flea/ ear mite treatments, and temperament testing. There will be an addition to the adoption price, if you reside in our county, and you want to obtain a current dog license from us.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Countess, a Chambersburg Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) for sale in Chambersburg, or seeking a Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) dog from a breeder in Chambersburg.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Chambersburg already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Chambersburg breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) breeders who help with Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Chambersburg paves the way for another one to be saved.
