Ferbie's Story...
Ferbie- this adorable brown tiger boy was found as an 8 week old kitten with outside strays. He was injured somehow and has a funny gait when he walks and runs. By the time he was found nothing could be done to correct this, but he gets around fine. He can actually run pretty fast. He is shy at first and may feel self conscious with other animals because of his "handicap" . But once you hold him he relaxes. He would need someone with patience. It would be great if he could go with another kitty. He is about 6 months old, neutered, up to date on shots, Leukemia neg, wormed. It would help to have a vet reference. Please call Therese :610-248-7399 or Linda: 610-737-4057[12-20-12].

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ferbie, a Germansville Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Germansville, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Germansville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Germansville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Germansville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Germansville paves the way for another one to be saved.
