Jules's Story...
Hello, my name is Jules. I was born on October 7, 2012, and they think I'm a Chiweenie. All they know is that my mom was a Chihuahua, so we know I'll be little. I'm playful and sweet, but I'm a little more cautious than my brother and sisters. I love to play and have a really good time with the other adult dogs in my foster home. My siblings and I were dropped off at a shelter in the pan handle when we were only 6 weeks old! The family that had our mom couldn't afford to take care of us, and we were very scared. A really nice lady came and got us out of the shelter then sent us down to Palm Harbor to a foster home. My foster mom says she hopes we can all get new homes for the holidays and new year. I am up to date on all of my age appropriate vaccines, I am spayed, I have a microchip, and I am currently on Heartworm and flea preventive. My adoption donation is $350.00. Please e-mail petadopt@hotmail.com for an application if you are interested in me. I hope you will be my new family.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jules, a Palm Harbor Chihuahua/Dachshund puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua/Dachshund for sale in Palm Harbor, or seeking a Chihuahua/Dachshund puppy from a breeder in Palm Harbor.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Palm Harbor already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Palm Harbor breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua/Dachshund breeders who help with Chihuahua/Dachshund rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Palm Harbor paves the way for another one to be saved.
