Duke's Story...
Duke is kennel trained but prefers to be out and about the house even when I'm gone but is very well behaved doing either. She loves to play fetch but also likes to play tug of war and wrestle. Loves to be outside, craves attention so its best for her to be on a leash while on walks since she tends to "say hi" to strangers but when its early in the morning and nobody is out I'll let her roam around outside close by. She responds to basic commands; "sit, stop, out and in (for when going inside or outside a room or building), down and up (pertaining to her on couches or bed), move, and a whistle sound. She sleeps in a bed with her foster every night. She dreams every time she sleeps so she tends to kick her legs around and make some weird noises, nothing extreme. Well accustomed to children and dogs. Hasn’t been around cats so I can’t say how shell respond but more than likely shell think they’re a new play mate. She rides well in the car and she loves to take baths. Has never been swimming and I doubt she would be good at it. From the time she was a puppy, she has been worked with getting her used to being bothered when sleeping or eating so she won’t have a temperament problem or be overly protective of toys or food; or basically anything that a child would typically do to a dog so she wouldn’t have any issues. Great dog only up for adopt due to current owner moving overseas.
