Bosley's Story...
Why Choose me?

Bosley is a handsome chocolate pit/lab mix. His coat is soft and he’s been well cared for. He’s not used to the noises of Animal Control and was shy about coming out. I could tell that he wanted to trust me because he would come close but then hear a loud noise to make him dart back to his kennel. Eventually, he let me pet him and slip the leash on. Once leashed, Bosley was fine about walking with me. Of course we got that far and it started raining pretty hard. I was able to take a few pictures inside, but you can see in his pictures, that Bosley was a little uneasy about everything going on. Still, he was friendly, sweet, and agreeable to whatever I wanted to do. I look forward to spending more time with Bosley. He’s a handsome fellow that seems to have a good temperament. He just needs a sunny day and a little time to get used to his new environment.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bosley, a Athens Labrador Retriever/Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Athens, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Athens.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Athens already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Athens breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Athens paves the way for another one to be saved.
