Marti's Story...
Marti came to HF in July 2011 as part of a cruelty case, was neglected and emaciated. She has gained her weight and then some! VERY easy keeper. Needs some round pen work to trim her up and condition. Marti is about 8 years old. Will have teeth, vaccinations and be UTD with adoption.
Krystal Kelly worked with her and did her eval. Was very ok with being in round pen, saddling, etc. She had NO rider on her. Would be great project for someone to work with and then move on to saddle training. Marti likes being groomed and attention.

About Our Rescue Group...
We educate children and adults on proper care of equine and hope to bring about a better sense of community. Many horses are neglected or abused and those that we get in we do our best to rehab and teach those who come to volunteer how to better treat these animals so that it may help prevent cases of abuse further down the line.
