Hogan's Story...
Meet Hogan!! Hogan is an american bulldog mix who likes cats and dogs! He'll do best in a home with older children over the age of 10. Hogan is in need of a foster or adopter. His temp foster says:

If you are looking for an affectionate incredibly handsome boy, Hogan might just be your match! He is a 1 ½ yr old American Bulldog Mix and he is looking for his furever home. Hogan was a stray found wandering the streets of NYC where he ended up in a city shelter. He is great with cats and other dogs, and is really a people pleaser. He would do best in a home with children 12+-- he is very, very gentle but has a LOT of energy and will need training since he is still a young dog. He has so much love to give but truly does not understand how strong he is. Hogan is crate trained, almost potty trained, and knows his basic commands. He is very intelligent, and loyal should be his middle name! He has so much love to give and would do best in a home with another dog since he really loves their companionship. He is not looking to be an alpha- he is very submissive with other dogs.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Hogan, a Whitestone American Bulldog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Bulldog for sale in Whitestone, or seeking a American Bulldog dog from a breeder in Whitestone.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Whitestone already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Whitestone breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Bulldog breeders who help with American Bulldog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Whitestone paves the way for another one to be saved.
