Dawson's Info...

I am already neutered, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Dawson's Story...
Dawson has the softest coat you've ever felt. He was sitting calmly in the shelter, greeting the shelter staff and volunteers as they passed by his cage. When the FOR volunteer reached in to pet him, she couldn't stop! We opened the cage door and knew we had to find this sweet cat a home. He's now in a foster home with children, dogs, and other cats -- and thriving. He's very adaptable -- he adjusted immediately and is a joy to have around. Dawson is very neat at the litter pan and LOVES to play. If you adopt him, buy a few toys first! If you'd like to talk with his foster mom, meet him, and complete an application - please email INFO@FORrescue.net. Dawson is fostered in Huntsville, AL.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dawson, a Nashville Domestic Mediumhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Mediumhair for sale in Nashville, or seeking a Domestic Mediumhair cat from a breeder in Nashville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Nashville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Nashville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Mediumhair breeders who help with Domestic Mediumhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Nashville paves the way for another one to be saved.
