Princess's Story...
THIS IS A COURTESY LISTING; DO NOT APPLY THROUGH IDGSR

Princess is approximately 10-12 years old and weighs about 70 lbs. Her owner has to move and cannot keep this beautiful purebred German Shepherd. Princess is losing her hearing but very healthy otherwise. She is up to date on vaccinations and has been spayed. She is cat friendly, child friendly and has been in the home with a Yorkie and another German Shepherd for the last 8 years. Very protective of her 'family' , but not aggressive. She loves being in the house and around people. A well mannered girl with much love to give. Owner is just heart broken, but just can't keep Princess any longer.

If you are able to provide a home for Princess, please call Janet Jones at 865-661-3580.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Princess, a Greeneville German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Greeneville, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Greeneville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Greeneville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Greeneville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Greeneville paves the way for another one to be saved.
