Facts about Cynthia

  • Breed: Domestic Shorthair
  • Color: Black & White Or Tuxedo
  • Age: Adult
  • Sex: Female
  • ID#: A0951238
  • Hair: Short
Cynthia is a soft, affectionate sweetie who gets along with people and cats. She'll charm you with kisses and keep you cozy on winter nights. At her foster home, she quickly made herself comfortable on the bed, and two days later, she woke up her foster mom with a gentle paw touch and a nose kiss. She's a generally calm cat who enjoys being petted and brushed (she likes to eat the brush!), although she doesn't love being held (we're working on it). She loves to play, jump and watch the birds from the screened window. If you want company while you work or cook, Cynthia is your girl.

Cynthia would enjoy having a kitty friend at her new home. She quickly made friends with her foster sister Sophy and they are very cute together—wrestling, tumbling and bathing each other. She would love a home where she'll get a lot of attention and would probably do well with older children. She is a bit shy at adoption events, so please come visit Cynthia at her foster home on the UES. She might roll upside down to show you her tummy and, if you're lucky, even nibble on your hair to win your heart. She was born around 11/29/10.

About Anjellicle Cats Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

Anjellicle Cats Rescue is a no-kill, all-volunteer,
not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organization. We are a member
of the Mayor's Alliance and a New Hope Partner with
the New York Animal Care & Control (ACC). For over ten years, this Hell's Kitchen shelter has been a lifeline
for abandoned, stray, and neglected cats and kittens.
In addition, we work closely with the ACC to pull out
those who are in danger of being euthanized due to
overcrowding. Each one is welcomed with kindness and medical attention, with the goal of placement into a permanent, loving home.

Well-known within the Broadway community, we have been featured on Fox 5 Morning Show, New York 1 Television and in Time Out magazine. We always enjoy meeting new volunteers and people who share our mission -- to compassionately rescue, care for and place New York City's homeless cats and kittens.

Come in today to see our "cat room" and maybe you'll
find a new friend -- one of our truly "Anjellicle

Come Meet Our Pets...

If you've found the cat of your dreams and wish to begin the adoption process, you only need to call or email Anjellicle Cats Rescue and arrange to meet a representative at Spoiled Brats, 340 W. 49th St.. Adoptions are done by appointment although there is usually someone on site every evening from 6 - 8pm.

Our Adoption Process...

Once you've filled out an application, someone will go through an adoption package with you with updated information on cat care. We require a donation of $125 for one cat or $225 for two. The kitten or cat will then be personally delivered to their new home.

All cats have been tested for the Feline Leukemia and FIV virus, vaccinated with FVRCP (3 in 1) and spayed or neutered. We believe it is much kinder to adopt kittens with another kitten or cat unless there is already a cat in their new household.
