Hi, my name is Abby. I used to live in Minneapolis with my family, but mom lost her job and they had to move. They couldn't take me with them. I miss them very much. Now I am staying at Cat Nap Lodge in Michigan. It's OK. They take good care of me, but I really want a family of my own again. I would love to lay in your lap and purr! I am a big, beautiful girl who loves human companionship. Can I com home with you!

Abby has been tested for Feline Leukemia and has had her FVRCP and Rabies shots. She has had her flea and worm treatments. She has been spayed and declawed.

Please call us at 269-567-0328 to make an appointment to visit Abby.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Abby, a Richland Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Richland, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Richland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Richland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Richland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Richland paves the way for another one to be saved.
