Sarah's Story...
This adorable girl is Sarah! She is a lovely little 6.5 yr old pit mix. She is a petite girl, weighing in at 40 lbs, and is full grown. Sarah's tail is always wagging, and she is friendly to everyone! She gets along well with other non-dominant dogs and cats, and ferrets too! Little ones scare her a bit, so she'd prefer a home without children. Sarah is house and crate trained, spayed, and up to date on shots. Adoption fee is $125. Her perfect home would be one with a fenced yard, where she can play fetch, and then go inside for some cuddles with her bestie! If Sarah sounds like your ideal dog, please email Last Hope Rescue at LastHopeRescueFL@gmail.com.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sarah, a Tallahassee American Staffordshire Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Staffordshire Terrier for sale in Tallahassee, or seeking a American Staffordshire Terrier dog from a breeder in Tallahassee.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Tallahassee already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Tallahassee breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Staffordshire Terrier breeders who help with American Staffordshire Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Tallahassee paves the way for another one to be saved.
