Maggie's Story...
Maggie is sweet, loving, petite Beagador (black lab/beagle mx). She is only 35 lbs and is estimated at 3-4 years old. She was found on the side of the road ready to give birth and taken to a shelter. She gave birth to 5 healthy puppies and all were fostered through Last Hope Rescue. She is heartworm negative, spayed and up to date on shots. Her foster mom says she is good with other dogs and cats and is house and leash trained. She is shy but oh so sweet and she warms up with just the right amount of love. She is ready for a forever home! Adoption fee is $125 and transport in FL can be arranged. MAGGIE is in Tallahassee, FL.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Maggie, a Tallahassee Beagle/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle/Labrador Retriever for sale in Tallahassee, or seeking a Beagle/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Tallahassee.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Tallahassee already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Tallahassee breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Beagle/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Tallahassee paves the way for another one to be saved.
