Penny's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Penny's Story...

My name is Penny and I was saved from a high-kill shelter. Thankfully, I am now safe with my foster mom, who has been giving me the TLC that has always been missing in my life. With the tender loving care IÂ’'m getting now, my spunky personality is blossoming. Even though I am small, I love to hike, play in the water, and play with dogs. I am very happy and affectionate once I get to know you, but can be slow to warm (especially with men). I am NOT a barker. I am very easy going and have a very even tempered disposition. I am learning some basic commands and am mostly potty trained. I am ok with cats, when supervised. I really am a LOVE and am ready to be YOUR new best friend!

California Pit bull Rescue is an official 501(c)(3) and requires an adoption application and $200 donation fee for all adoptions.

About California Pit Bull Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

California Pit Bull Rescue (CPR) is a 501(c)3, organized for the purpose of rescuing at risk "pit bull" type dogs and facilitating social change to abolish the abuse, over breeding and mis-education surrounding the breed. CPR will achieve these goals through a statewide fostering network, fundraising programs, educational initiatives and financial/physical support for needy guardians of pit bull type dogs. CPR will also be establishing a sanctuary for pit bull type dogs, which will ease local municipal shelter burdens, provide community support for responsible dog guardianship, as well as a forever home for those deemed "unadoptable."

Come Meet Our Pets...

CPR joins the Milo Foundation every other week on 4th Street in Berkeley for their mobile adoption events. We will also come to you anytime, just let us know which dogs you would like to meet!

Our Adoption Process...

Our standard adoption fee is $200 and includes the dog is spay/neutered, up to date on vaccinations and microchipped. We have an adoption questionnaire, agreement, as well as home delivery requirement for all of our dogs.
