COCO's Story...
COCO
My name is Coco and I was put into Rescue before I was taken to a High Kill Shelter. The “new baby” arrived….. and my family opened the door and let me out. I was outside on for a few hours, very frightened and cold, too afraid to roam. It was very late when a neighbor spotted me, picked me up and rang my owner’s doorbell. I heard them say, “we really don’t’ want him anymore, we just had a baby….let him go, he will be OK.” This nice person took me into their home, fed me and gave me a warm blanket to sleep on. They had never had a dog before and I know they would have kept me but they were renters. They weren’t able to. The nice man who lived there knew his boss used the word “Rescue,” a lot and spoke to him about me. Before I knew it I was in someone’s arms and they promised to find me the very, very best home possible! This is my Rescue story, but, what’s a Rescue Story without a happy ending?? I long for my forever home! .
I 10 lbs of pure love and I would make the perfect addition to any family with or without children, other dogs or cats. I walk well on a lead, am crate trained but will still have an accident if left along for a long period of time. I would love to find my forever home soon!
I am neutered, and UTD on all shots and I even have a microchip!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

COCO, a New Windsor Cavalier King Charles Spaniel/Pekingese dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel/Pekingese for sale in New Windsor, or seeking a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel/Pekingese dog from a breeder in New Windsor.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in New Windsor already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a New Windsor breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cavalier King Charles Spaniel/Pekingese breeders who help with Cavalier King Charles Spaniel/Pekingese rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in New Windsor paves the way for another one to be saved.
