Chilli's Story...
Chilli is great with all dogs. He loves running and sticks right beside his running buddy. He would be a wonderful family dog with older children. He is particular about his food and may nip at a small child, although this should improve because he is learning to be less possessive of toys. He learns quickly and knows not to counter surf and to stay off of furniture unless allowed. He needs a fenced yard so he can run his playful circles, as he has a lot of energy. When he gets tired or wants to be lazy he curls up near you. He could have his belly rubbed for hours. He has a shy streak to his personality and needs humans to show him what to do when he becomes unsure about new situations. He is house trained and crate trained. His foster family is still trying to figure out whether he is good with cats. So far, the limited interactions have gone well, but Chilli gets quite excited about seeing the cat. Chilli is a wonderful and energetic boy who would love an active family. He is treat motivated and very gentle in taking treats from your hand.

About Our Rescue Group...
Proverbs 12:10 Animal Rescue's purpose shall be to provide shelter and loving care, which includes food, veterinary care and any other necessity, for animals that were abused, abandoned, owner surrendered, or otherwise destined to be euthanized due to over-crowded shelter conditions. Through the use of foster homes, Proverbs will care for these animals until such time as a good, responsible, loving home can be found for all adoptable animals.

We offer a Foster program for those who would like to offer their time.

We have foster-to adopt.
There is an application process for fostering and/or adopting. Fees vary.
Vaccinations/Spay/Neuter included for adult pets.
All pets adopted out MUST without exception be spayed and/or neutered when they are at the right age, 4-6 months.
