My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

JayC is a 9 month old silver grey Toy Poodle puppy, born 3/22/12 he weighs 10lbs and will probably stay at that weight.
JayC is a total puppy, playful, full of energy and runs VERY fast. JayC needs some obedience training to teach him all the commands. He is a very good boy and knows his name and listens well, a little shy but a very happy puppy. He is totally potty trained and loves to play outside. Because JayC is still a puppy he LOVES to play with toys and his goal is to remove the stuffing from everything, including his bed. So someone who understands a puppy and their needs is paramount. We think JayC would be good with older children who have experience and good manners around small dogs. JayC is a really smart Poodle puppy that if someone invests the time, energy, training and love could train him to do anything.
All silver Poodles are born black, so they transition to silver, as you can see in the picture JayC is losing his 'puppy coat' and will be eventually all silver. He has a wonderful sweet disposition with totally puppy mischieviousness, emptying the toy box in 10 seconds flat to search for the next toy to obliterate and then shows you what a wonderful job he did with the fluff hanging out of his mouth! Did we already say that JayC is total puppy!!
He likes other dogs but it would have to be another dog of the same size and energy level as him.

Requirements for Adoption
Must have a physical fully fenced in yard without exception to let him run off that puppy steam
Must be home most of the day (you cannot leave a puppy alone for hours)
Willing to go to training classes
Have the energy to adopt a puppy and keep up with their extensive excercise needs
We insist on a integrative approach to vet care and nutritional well being for our Poodles (see Nutrition and Care page)
We do not adopt Christmas presents!

Poodles need to go to a professional groomer every 6-8 weeks at a cost of about $50, so please factor that into the costs associated with dog ownership.
