Teensy's Story...
Teensy adores being with his human family. Every morning he eagerly greets his humans with soft purrs. He loves to stay near his humans and nap on their laps. He loves to rest in his little bed next to the computer when his human sits there to work. He also loves to nap on their laps or sit at their feet while they watch TV. He is incredibly sweet, loving and very affectionate and always very gentle. He also snuggles up to this human's neck and purr when picked up. He is full of fun and curiosity. He loves chasing afater his little furry ball when thrown for him. He also loves to run and chase his bouncy ball and play with feather toys. Wherever his humans go, he will follow. He gets also very well with other cast and will fit very well into any family. He hs guaranteed to capture your heart. Teensy was about 12 weeks old the end of December.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Teensy, a Reston Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Reston, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Reston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Reston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Reston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Reston paves the way for another one to be saved.
