Hope's Story...
Hope is a friendly, sweet, snuggly, extremely playful and loving, two-year-old, 30-pound, female red and white pit bull terrier-mix looking for a loving guardian.

Hope loves all other dogs small and large! She let’s them cuddle up with her and share a dog bed and she also loves to curl up in the corner of the couch and with her foster parents. She came into rescue weighing only 17 pounds and with three puppies in tow. This poor girl has since gained 13 pounds in foster care. She is looking for someone with the time and energy to devote to training a worthwhile young dog.. She loves car rides and walks.

She is healthy, spayed, de-wormed, up-to-date on vaccines, heartworm-tested, and on monthly preventative. Her adoption fee of $250 benefits the rescued pets of Famous Fido’s. To meet and possibly adopt Hope, please contact her foster mom Chris by e-mail at christine6206@aol.com or phone 630-699-1480. She is currently living in a foster home in Naperville, Illinois.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Hope, a Chicago American Pit Bull Terrier/American Staffordshire Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Pit Bull Terrier/American Staffordshire Terrier for sale in Chicago, or seeking a American Pit Bull Terrier/American Staffordshire Terrier dog from a breeder in Chicago.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Chicago already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Chicago breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Pit Bull Terrier/American Staffordshire Terrier breeders who help with American Pit Bull Terrier/American Staffordshire Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Chicago paves the way for another one to be saved.
