Dobby's Story...
Dobby is a 4 month old doberman boy who is all puppy and all natural (floppy ears and long tail). Dobby was dumped along with his mom and dad(who have gone to rescue as well) in the fenced back yard of a dobie lover outside of Nashville. To say he was shell shocked would be an understatement. Being a typical puppy he bounced back to a happy go lucky guy and is now looking for a home to call his own and that will never abandon him again. He is working on his house training and coming along very nicely in crate training. He is also working on basic house manners but is a high energy pup so sometimes he just can't help but be crazy. He gets along great with dogs his size but will chase and pounce smaller animals so he needs a home where everyone is his size. He warms up fairly quickly to newcomers and gets along with the baby in his foster home. Dobby will be neutered in a few weeks and ready for his new home.

To adopt Dobby, we require that you own your home, have home insurance that covers Dobermans, and a fenced in yard.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dobby, a Christiana Doberman Pinscher puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Doberman Pinscher for sale in Christiana, or seeking a Doberman Pinscher puppy from a breeder in Christiana.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Christiana already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Christiana breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Doberman Pinscher breeders who help with Doberman Pinscher rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Christiana paves the way for another one to be saved.
