Joy**Donations Needed**'s Story...
Joy is a 8-12 month old pomeranian who is full of spunk guessed it joy! She was dumped in the drop bin of a high kill shelter in East Tennessee with a note that said "Vet said her leg is messed up and if she has pups she'll die, so s...he is no good to us" so she was pulled out of there and taken into oped rescue. Her "messed up" leg turned out to be a broken hip/crushed leg as well as a dislocated tail. She will be having surgery after the first of the year to get fixed up for her new home. For now she is in a loving foster home and very much enjoying being a pet. Joy's surgery is going to run $1200-$1500 and we are in need of donations to make this happen for her. If you would like to donate towards Joy's surgery, that would be GREATLY appreciated also!!! Remember OpEd IS a 501(c)3 charity so all your donations are tax deductible!
If you would liek to donate you can one of 3 ways:
Straight to the clinic treating her:

(Joy will be available for adoption once she has had her surgery and is healed. We will be taking applications after she has been released by the vet so keep checking back if you are interested in adopting this bundle of Joy!)

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Joy**Donations Needed**, a Christiana Pomeranian puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pomeranian for sale in Christiana, or seeking a Pomeranian puppy from a breeder in Christiana.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Christiana already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Christiana breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pomeranian breeders who help with Pomeranian rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Christiana paves the way for another one to be saved.
