Dobby's Story...
If you are interested in viewing or adopting these kitties, please go to www.orphankittenrescue.com/adopt and fill out an application.

Dobby is the sweetest little girl you'll ever meet. She came to VOKRA as semi-feral and was so timid and shy that she couldn't even play for the longest time. With some loving, she is now the cuddliest kitten ever. She loves to follow you everywhere--even waiting outside the bathroom for you. She'll also hop on the bed while you're sleeping to get in some secret cuddles! Dobby is VERY quiet; she doesn't really meow but instead makes adorable little squeak noises that must be heard to be believed. She is also has a motor belly that turns her into a purring machine when activated by belly rubs and ear scratches. After warming up to you, you'll see her sweet girl demeanor turn a little mischievous--she'll run and play until she tires herself out, plopping herself near you for a nap.

Dobby must be adopted with her foster brother Smee. She is a bit shy at first but is comforted by having Smee around. Dobby is the perfect kitty for any house!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dobby, a Vancouver Domestic Mediumhair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Mediumhair for sale in Vancouver, or seeking a Domestic Mediumhair kitten from a breeder in Vancouver.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Vancouver already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Vancouver breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Mediumhair breeders who help with Domestic Mediumhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Vancouver paves the way for another one to be saved.
