Sally's Story...
Poor Sally has a sad tale. Her original owners died and Sally was alone with thier dead bodies for several days before anyone discovered her. For the last 3 years she has lived with another family, but they have lost their home and must move, but cannot take Sally with them. SO this poor girl is once again homeless and looking for a forever home and loving family. Sally is about 10 years old and weighs about 15-20 lbs. She is very loving and outgoing with people and gets along well with other dogs, though they tend to pick on her due to her size and age. Sally does well on a leash and is crate trained.. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sally, a Albany Jack Russell Terrier/Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Jack Russell Terrier/Chihuahua for sale in Albany, or seeking a Jack Russell Terrier/Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Albany.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Albany already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Albany breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Jack Russell Terrier/Chihuahua breeders who help with Jack Russell Terrier/Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Albany paves the way for another one to be saved.
