Ty's Story...

My name is Ty. I am a 9 year, male, neutered, 9 year (although I look & act much younger) Dachshund/Min-Pin mix. I love to give kisses, snuggle down in bed with you and just be a loving companion. I'm very friendly and absolutely love everyone. My health is great, I am up to date on all my shots, micro chipped, I walk well on a leash and play well with others in the dog park but best of all I am fully house trained. My most favorite thing to do is go for a “Car Ride”  mention the word “car” (or even spell the word)  and I will beat you to it and wonder what took you so long to get there!

I have been to soccer practices, Powder Puff Football games, the dog park, the beach and 2 canine fund raising walks and behaved like a perfect gentleman.  I just love to go places, ANY place.

I would be an awesome addition to a family with kids over the age of 6, there could be other dogs in the house and I would be a great playmate for them.

Ty's adoptio fee is only $125. If you are a senior that would like to give this senior a warm lap to settle in, we will give you a senor to senior discount that will bring him adoption fee to a mere $100.

Ty is being fostered in Vista, CA (No. San Diego County-10 miles East of Oceanside). If Ty sounds like the perfect Dachshund for you, please contact Carol at

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ty, a Irvine Dachshund dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dachshund for sale in Irvine, or seeking a Dachshund dog from a breeder in Irvine.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Irvine already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Irvine breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dachshund breeders who help with Dachshund rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Irvine paves the way for another one to be saved.
