Charlie's Story...
Charlie is an incredible little boy. He managed to get himself hung up in a fence at a daycare and was rescued by the teacher and students. Even though he was injured (3 broken toes) he was stilll a sweetheart, letting the teacher carry him around until animal control arrived. Because of his injury he could only be released to rescue and we're so glad they called us. He's an energetic litlle boy and sometimes a crazy man but very loving and entertaining. His foot has healed although it will always be crooked and he occasionally does the three legged hop but he does not let it slow him down. He loves to play with the other dogs and will leap for your arms when you reach for him. He is a fun loving, active little guy and he is ready and anxious to start life with his forever family.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Charlie, a Greensboro Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Greensboro, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Greensboro.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Greensboro already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Greensboro breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Greensboro paves the way for another one to be saved.
