Maddi's Story...
Maddi is 5-6 months old, weighs about 40-45 lbs. The vet thought she may be a lab/boxer/shepherd mix. She is very smart and can open the door to come inside to be with people. She also goes to the door to be let out to potty. She doesn't know how to be with cats, but at her age that can be worked out. Maddi is currently living with an older couple who feels she needs a more active family. If you have any questions let us know.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Maddi, a Brookville Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Labrador Retriever for sale in Brookville, or seeking a Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Brookville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Brookville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Brookville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Brookville paves the way for another one to be saved.
