Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Alice is a very nice looking possibly full Labrador Retriever. We didn't note her estimated age so the 2-3 yrs estimate is based on memory and photos and could be off either way. She has spent her life so far living in a straw stall in a barn. She is reasonably social despite limited exposure to people other than her caretakers, and was living peacefully with her roomie Gertrude. Apparently since we were down, they got into a dust-up which left Gertrude with a wound on her face Despite this, I feel she is generally OK with dogs, as she is living in a crowded and stressful situation and it would be surprising if there were no fights. It does not appear to have been a serious fight.
Alice was quite social with us and I feel she is one of the better candidates to go in either a multi-dog situation or as an only pet. She is fairly healthy with some skin irritation that is consistent with flea allergies (fleas have been treated). She looks more like a full Labrador Retriever than most of the other dogs on site. She does have an eye infection which we are hoping will be attended to shortly.
Alice is in danger of being given away to whoever wants her for whatever purpose as authorities have ordered the dogs be removed, and she's too nice a dog to go from here to life on the end of a chain or running at large and getting hit by a car. She is a beautiful Labrador that we are hoping will catch someone's eye as a new family member.
