Lucky's Story...
Lucky is an adorable little bichon/poodle mix. He is approx 2 yrs old and 14 lbs.. He is a very happy little dog that loves to play with his buddies. He was treated and is fully recovered from heartworm. He gets on great with the other dogs, loves to sleep on the bed at night and seems to be fairly well house trained, and does pretty well on a leash. He is a little stand-off-ish when he first meets you, but warms up quickly. He would do especially well in a house with a doggie playmate and a quieter house without a lot of commotion. He is learning his manners and commands. He should not be considered hypoallergenic as he a mix

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lucky, a Norwalk Bichon Frise/Poodle (Miniature) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Bichon Frise/Poodle (Miniature) for sale in Norwalk, or seeking a Bichon Frise/Poodle (Miniature) dog from a breeder in Norwalk.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Norwalk already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Norwalk breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Bichon Frise/Poodle (Miniature) breeders who help with Bichon Frise/Poodle (Miniature) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Norwalk paves the way for another one to be saved.
