LORIN's Story...
~ ADOPTION PENDING ~ You may meet and apply to adopt Lorin at our ADOPTION EVENT on SATURDAY, JANUARY 5th from 12 Noon - 3:00 at PETCO in COSTA MESA. adoptpetmatch@gmail.com

~ ADOPTION PENDING ~ Lorin is a female Havanese/Terrier mix between 1-2 years of age. She has fluffy soft, thick wavy buff colored fur beautifully tipped with charcoal gray and brown. Her gorgeous, feminine face is framed by darker ears and her eyes are a lively chocolate brown. She has lighter ivory feathering on all four feet. Lorin is very healthy and a nice size, weighing in at 14 pounds. Lorin is a real head turner without question. Her fur is low to non-shedding and is easy to brush out and maintain. Lorin is a perfect mix of spunky fun and sweet cuddler. She is loves to play with soft, squeaky toys and is an absolute joy to have around, quiet and good inside the home. Lorin likes to be where the action is and adores the company and attention of people. She is social and enjoys when guests come over, easily greeting them with a happy wag of her tail. She comes when called and will put her nose under your hand for a nice stroking on the head. She sits quietly while being groomed and is a good girl in the bath. Lorin gets along well with other dogs and is great with children. She is still learning how to walk on leash and gets a little overwhelmed sometimes. When this happens, she will just sit down and wait for you to pick her up. Within a short amount of time, this hesitant part of Lorin will go away as she becomes more secure in her environment. Lorin was brought in stray to a very high-kill shelter right before the holidays. She is a wonderful rescue and will make a truly outstanding choice for a family pet and companion. She is just starting out in life and will thrive in a responsible, stable and secure forever loving home.

Lorin’s adoption donation is $350 (*TAX DEDUCTABLE). She has been SPAYED, MICROCHIPPED, VACCINATED, DEWORMED, DEFLEAED and PROFESSIONALLY GROOMED. Also included is her collar with ID, harness, leash, folder with all of her records, a great PETCO coupon book, and a fun goodie bag with toys, etc.

Lorin is being fostered by Pet Match Rescue Foster Volunteer, Lara and is ready for her forever home.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

LORIN, a Newport Beach Havanese/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Havanese/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) for sale in Newport Beach, or seeking a Havanese/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog from a breeder in Newport Beach.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Newport Beach already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Newport Beach breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Havanese/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) breeders who help with Havanese/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Newport Beach paves the way for another one to be saved.
